This week we decided to switch things up a bit and try something different in SOTA Cardiff. This 'something different' went by the name of Harri Davis.
Harri is a jazzy, soul-filled funk machine who graced our restaurant with his chilled out vibes to surprise our guests. When Harri appeared from nowhere beginning to tinkle on the ivories and pick those beautiful guitar strings, I could tell this ‘bit of something different’ was a great idea! Our guests, front of house team and kitchen had a glorious night singing along! Check out our VLOG below for a sneaky peak at his sound check - sounds pretty good to us! The video was filmed by yours truly, Georgie - the acting general manager for Cardiff who clearly has a lot of hidden filming talent… Well you guys can be the judges on that!
Our new wines are going down a treat, especially the Dona Paula Malbec paired with a nice medium sirloin steak (YUM), with our hand cut chips (double YUM), and not to mention that homemade porcini and tarragon sauce (Triple YUM). If you haven’t paid us a visit yet, get down to Churchill Way and come and have a nose at our art gallery!
Have a good week, and check this space out regularly to see what has been happening in your favourite restaurant!
Love from,
Georgie.
