If Cardiff loves one thing, it’s Wales. Thank goodness we feel the same about all our sites and their surrounding areas. Our passion towards everything local is our ethos behind sourcing our meat, and it doesn’t just stop in the kitchen. Cardiff loves our local beer in the bar, and recently we had an exhibition in our gallery named ‘Red’. The works took influence from the country’s leading colour, and four local artists produced 28 stunning pieces for our dedicated art gallery.
What’s best, the gallery boasted work from our very own team. One of our waitresses Molly Pearson is an artist, and her beautiful work, drawing influences on children’s illustration and welsh folk stories, was showcased in full glory.
In the near future, Steak of the Art will hopefully be collaborating with South Wales Art Society, bringing you more of the good local stuff to your favourite restaurant. Our restaurant manager, born and bred Welsh Nat Wilkinson says “I love seeing all the local input that Steak of the Art keep bringing to our Cardiff site. I look forward to seeing more local food, art and drink as we progress in to 2016.”
